Although Expansys.com have a great rep for getting the exclusive on pre-order handsets, it’s their customers who are usually charged over the odds for the privileged first dibs.

Play.com fared only slightly better with their £649.99 price tag but it’s still a steep markup for one of the swankiest smartphones on the market.

With quotes like these from inside Nokia HQ a price reduction is hopefully near.
